HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY VC!
In 1970, a small group of individuals at UCLA – artists, filmmakers, students, and activists – banded together to form VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS. They worked as a collective to create visual resources for building a greater consciousness of Asian Pacific history in America.

Having survived every imaginable  artistic and administrative challenge, the organization has earned its reputation as one of the Asian Pacific community's most respected institutions. Our mission is to promote intercultural understanding through the production, presentation and  preservation of honest and sensitive stories about Asian Pacific people. Read More About VC's History.
