VC Academy: Fall 2012
We're pleased to announce some exciting new additions to our roster of Fall 2012 workshops at Visual Communications. Interested in getting the most out of your digital camera for shooting motion pictures? Or are you interested in learning how to edit with Final Cut Pro? Then take a class this fall at the VC Academy and learn both the basics and advanced tips and tricks from working industry professionals such as Walt Louie and Richard Briglia. Classes are appropriate for all levels of students, unless otherwise stated. Class sizes are limited, advance registration and payment is required.

As technology continues to improve exponentially, more and more filmmakers are turning to digital. What do you need to know? What are the advantages and limitations in utilizing a digital camera for your shoot? What are the challenges and advantages in lighting for a digital shoot.? In this workshop, Director of Photography Richard Briglia will be utilizing the Canon 7D to cover the basics, including: how digital interprets light, shutter speed, lenses, filters and lights, accessories, prepping for your shoot, and much more.
