against their better instincts, on a blind date by their parents. Matilda,
suspicious and biased, and Riley, defensive and insecure, can’t
share an honest moment, and their subsequent dates seem to reinforce
their worst preconceptions of each other. Finally, fate intervenes and
Matilda and Riley at last come together over a play Matilda is casting
and producing. In the end, Riley gets his breakthrough role, and Matilda’s
writer’s block is solved.

Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning,” PERFECT GIRL is the
first authorized motion picture version of the work of Japan’s
most popular contemporary writer, Haruki Murakami.
