(Hong Kong, 2003) Dir./Scr.: Carole Lai Mui-suet
Maan, a beautiful young Hong Kong native haunted by the death of her
lover, struggles to accept a new life. She goes to Qingdao in search
of the landscape that her lover spoke of in his final days. She realizes
that she has become a lonely person in this world. There, she makes
the acquaintance of Lit, a young postman who will help her in her
search. Little by little, this search will bring them together but
Maan’s sorrow lies a cold stone in the relationship that comes
into being between them. She is steeped in her grief, resisting new

finally awakens to love again, finding the courage to grasp life once
more.
