Visual Communications, the nationís premier Asian Pacific American media arts center, is seeking outstanding, motivated individuals for employment and volunteer opportunities in preparation for VC FILMFEST 2005. Visual Communications is recognized for its 30 year-plus track record of producing, presenting, and preserving the Asian Pacific American experience in film, video and new media technologies; and offers training and educational workshops in various areas of media arts production. Additionally, Visual Communications partners with community arts and social service organizations in an effort to make the arts accessible to all communities in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Visual Communications will present the 21st edition of VC FILMFEST: The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, April 28 through May 5, 2005 at the Directors Guild of America, David Henry Hwang Theatre and Aratani/Japan America Theatre. Candidates will be afforded the opportunity to observe and participate intimately with the mechanics of organizing a large-scale community event and the operations and philosophy of a grassroots, community-based Asian Pacific American arts organization.

Visual Communications is a teaching environment as well as a professional organization, and has a longstanding history of employing individuals from diverse backgrounds.
