FESTIVAL SEMINARS:

Festival Seminars EXCEPT for the Cinematography Workshop are slated for the weekend of May 6 & 7, at the DGA. Prices are: $15 per seminar; $30 for a 3-seminar package.

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS:

ONLINE:

The quickest and easiest way to purchase your tickets is by ordering here online through the program and film description pages.  You can easily access these pages through the pull down browse menus on the right or by clicking the programs and films tabs on the top navigation bar. It’s secure and you’ll save $2 off each ticket! Until noon on Tuesday, May 2, tickets will be available online at a discount of $8 General; $6 for Students, Seniors, and Members of VC/DGA/JACCC members (please show ID at the door).

PLEASE NOTE: A $3.00 service fee will be applied to the total online order. Tickets for Opening and Closing nights are not available for online discount.

You may also order tickets using the VC FILMFEST 2006 Ticket Line, (213) 680-4462, x59, Monday through Friday, from Noon to 5 p.m. through MONDAY, MAY 1.

IN-PERSON:

Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the screening at each location and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive early as many programs sell out. Some programs will be repeated to accommodate more audiences. Visit our website for updated schedule info.

A/JAT:

PLEASE NOTE: The Aratani/Japan America Theatre Box Office will only have tickets for programs presented at the A/JAT. The A/JAT Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., and Sunday (performance days only), noon-5 p.m. A/JAT Box Office: (213) 680-3700.

RUSH TICKETS:

In the event of a sold-out program, a limited number of seats may become available. A Rush Line will be formed next to the Box Office.

GROUP DISCOUNTS:

Bring your friends and save! Discounts for groups of 10 or more people are available; cost is $7 per person. Group Discounts do not apply to screenings at the Laemmle’s Sunset 5. Deadlinie is Monday, May 1. To order, call (213) 680-4462, ext. 59.

REFUND/EXHANGE POLICY:

All Sales Are Final. No refunds or exchanges except for program cancellations.

LOCATION: 7920 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood (One block west of Fairfax; corner of Sunset and Hayworth)
PARKING: $5 to the public at the DGA Headquarter Parking Lot (enter on Hayworth Ave.) and at 8000 Sunset Blvd (Virgin Megastore Complex).


Laemmle’s Sunset 5 - May 5-10

LOCATION: 8000 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood - (corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights)
PARKING: Free for 3 hours with validation


CENTER FOR THE PRESERVATION OF DEMOCRACY - May 9

LOCATION: 111 N. Central Avenue, Little Tokyo, Downtown L.A.
PARKING: Several lots available on Alameda and First Streets.


ARATANI/JAPAN AMERICA THEATRE - May 8, 10, 11

LOCATION: 244 South San Pedro St., Little Tokyo, Downtown LA (between 2nd and 3rd Streets)
PARKING: Available for $1.75 across the street from the AJAT; or in Sho Tokyo lot on 2nd Street, between South San Pedro and Central Ave. (Sho Tokyo lot closes at 11:00 p.pm., Mon-Sat)
