VC INTERNS
Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee is a rising junior at Brown University, where she concentrates in Comparative Literature and Art History. She hails from La Cañada Flintridge, a small city with the second-longest name in the state, and breeding ground of child stars like Haley Joel Osment and Hannah Montana. In her free time, she likes surfing, snowboarding, running, driving on empty streets and going to events at her current obsession, the Hollywood Bowl. She also enjoys a good game of Scrabble. Michelle believes in quality entertainment, which is what led her to VC.

Tiff Chum

Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Chinese-American Tiff Chum moved to sunny Chino Hills, California, when she was three. After undercover fighting with ninjas (and the mafia run by her mother and father) throughout elementary, middle, and high school, Tiff decided it was time to learn something about..something after graduating in 2004 from Ayala High School. Who knew that at Claremont McKenna, she would pursue music and continue her 16+ years of piano? Being fascinated by the arts, she hopes to get her masters, and maybe a PhD, in something worthwhile. Tiff credits her hilarious and supportive family for her positive persona, and blames the world for all her negative traits. What’s next for this ex-ninja-mafia, food-music-dance-life-enthusiast, chattering-social-butterfly? Toon in next time! Or perhaps in a few years..

Full name: Tiffany Liza Chum

What (some) people call me: tiff, tiff chum, chum, chummy, tiffy..

Craziest moment this summer at VC: Hm..that’s a toughie. Vogue Day (aka photoshoot day) was pretty wicked, but I feel like every day spent at VC has had some random/ crazy moment. Examples? Steven cussing out a fly, almost getting into a nearby car crash while crossing the street, American Apparel hot pants shopping, etcetera!!!

Biggest fear: Lightning! Or getting chopped into teensy-eensy bits. Or getting eaten alive.

Favorite snack food at VC: ALL OF THE ABOVE, PLEASE.

How many pounds I have gained this summer because of the food at VC: GAH! Let’s skip this question..

Yogurt is popular this summer because: everyone loves to feel like they’re not splurging when eating sugar or dessert. Dessert disguised in a “healthy” and fruity, low-calorie, “nutritious” form sells. And, summer is hot, and yogurt is cool. What a perfect combination.

When I grow up: I’ll be somebody!..hopefully.

One thing about me that most people don't know: I’ve never had braces or contacts, but my hearing range is smaller than most people. What does that mean? My ears don’t work properly, and I am somewhat deaf in comparison to the average person.

Why working at VC was freakin' amazing this summer: There are many, many reasons why this summer has been amazing at VC. I shall attempt to list them all here – Sasha, Michelle, Steven, Abe, Leslie, Amy, Kennedy, Jeff, Cindy, Susan, Eric, getting fed EVERY SINGLE DAY, working doesn’t feel like a chore or a bore, being in downtown LA, planning and developing various exhibitions and seeing them to completion..did I mention food and fantabulous people?
